hey guys, how do i remove or dismantle my clocks so i can tighten them up cos i found there is one hell of a rattle coming from that part of the bike,cheers lads and ladys     colboy

Screen out, probably top fairing off too, then 3 10mm headed bolts to take the bracket off that they sit on with 3 screws.
Will need to take the mirrors off as well as the are bolted through the ends of the bracket.

Have you got the 06/07....cause mine has the fecking rattle too...little bastard!  But I'm not sure its the clocks......

If its the 06/07 then its the ignition barrel - its a recall in the states.
Have a look on .net for the "fix".

oh thank you so much Hammy, i have been thinking mine was ignition barrel since i bought the damn bike, i took off keyrings and all sorts and even resort to holding the key sometimes cos im convinced its coming from there

now off to google a fix cos it drives me demented

Apparently its the bracket which holds the ignition wires in place vibrating....
Look under Ignition barrel, see wires and small light grey bracket....bend back towards fairing......should sort it!!!

I've just done mine :-)

Got mine replaced under warranty, they didnt want to do it though, never heard of it before etc etc . . . . . .
