All,

I have had a message from Ian's partner Julie thanking everyone on here for all the kind words and message, and also the donations on the Just Giving page. She has been really touched by our online community pulling together at this time and the  generosity.

Although the Donna Louise Charity is somewhere they wanted to recieve the donations, they have also expressed the wish to send donations to the school that his girls attend which is called Blackfriars.  I am awaiting further details and will update the Just Giving page to reflect this.  So if you want to make a donation to the School rather than the Charity, please can you hold off for a day or so until I can update the page to allow for this.

Thanks again from all your kind words and generosity, as I know it has meant so much to Julie and Ians family & friends.

There's no way I can make unfortunately but I will be having a minutes silence in respect at work.

I have an idea of a bit of a money raiser though for the summer - who about a competition for the total number of miles we all cover on the germany run with donation to enter and we'll see who we can tap up for some sort of prize?
