When ya coming up, I'm at the TT but if it's later on can meet up for a blast.

 If the weather stays fair, the west and north are hard to beat but the feds are ever present around glen coe & Oban areas.

Watch out for Johnny Foreigner also, loads of tourists. Get to eilan donan near skye, applecross and scourie, roads are quiet and awesome and were made for bikers!!

I am having 5 days starting 5th June, staying fort wiliam and Ullapool. Lets hope the sun is shining.

we are riding too moffat from bath somerset on the 12 june,then onto sky then going too follow the coast line north..then see wear the road takes us? i am going too wear my rev-it cayenne pro suit so water proofs not needed..we know we are going too get wet ..

As an English biker in Jockland several time, don't bother with Applecross unless your a stalwart cameraman. not worth the effort IMO.

Gair loch is great,  the road to Skye past the highlander castle is mint,  The Laggan road is top 1 or 2. as is lochinver to Laxfod bridge.  The Kinlochleven loop is a great road, nice and swoopy and  Jamie Whithams favourite, so if its good enough for him.  the roadpast glen Bridge of Cally to Braemar and on a bit is top as well.  I think i put my recent trip up on here. that I did less than 6 weeks ago.

If you've got time, go from Moffat to Selkirk along the A 708 past St. Marys Loch. Bit twisty before and after the loch but a good stretch of road up the side of the loch. Worth a look at the Grey Mares Tail waterfall a few miles before you get to the loch.

Scotland doesn't start untill Glasgow, so how can you be central? You must be a southern lowlander Jock then? lol

Also...... from Moffat if you're going further North you should go along the A701, Beef Tub road. Don't know how far North you are planning on going but that road will bring you to the South side of Edinburgh and from there you can easily get to Glasgow and up tha A82 past Loch Lomond and on to Glen Coe. But as has already been said, watch for "plod" on the A82, unmarked cars and camera vans !
