Amazing friends
« on: May 22, 2010, 08:58:19 PM »

Well things just keep getting better and better for me

At the beginning of the year after coming out of a 7 year relationship, I realised what amazing friends I have around me.
I know it sounds really soppy but all my bike friends are just so amazing and make me feel looked after and cared for.

You lot on here are like a big family too and have accepted my quirky, flirty sense of humour without branding me a forum floosie lol

THEN the accident!

Well what can i say, you guys just started rallying around to help me out, gotta say that Horse is a top bloke and has gone out of his way to help sooo much (and I know he's like that with everyone before you lot start with the comments lmao - its not just cos i have great tits lol)

Well last night my local friends TOTALLY amazed me and left me speechless
We all meet at local cafe on friday nights then head on to a pub in great yarmouth that gets probably a hundred or so bikes there
well i was all excited cos there seemed to be more people at the cafe than usual. I enjoyed catching up wtih people who i hadnt seen for a while.
Then i found out why they were there - cos of me!!

I got presented with a bespoke Felix / Loopelisa card which said sorry bout your accident, hope you get better soon and back on Felix and here's a little something to help out

THEY had only gone and got together and replaced my Arai Hopkins crash helmet for me!!!!!   How amazing is that

Im loud, stupid and appear to like being the centre of attention, but when all eyes were on me i went to pieces and started blubbing, not knowing what to do with myself lol

Good friends - you just can't beat them

sorry for waffling on but just wanted everyone to know how much i appreciate good friends
oh and my mate Rob who has my bike is working hard to make it better than ever before, this week he polished all the headers up by hand , they look amazing!

Well done Lisa, good to know you have friends that obviously think a lot of you.

I think I know the pub you meet at,is it just off the roundabout at the river?TBH I thought those meets had died out years ago.

I have family in Caister and was there today on my 996 as I'm still waiting for my waterpump for the Ten

Anyway, best of luck with getting back on the road.

ah yes nothing like a first date in the middle of a roundabout trying to stop me jumping up after coming off my bike. he was kind enough to swerve and avoid running me over too

Im sure i was such a ditzy cow at A&E on plenty of gas and air, i guess it was mildly amusing and he was daft enough to come and check on my recovery lol
