Help Loopelisa Fund!!!
« on: May 03, 2010, 04:30:41 PM »

Right going to start a thread to help our own "Clamity Jane" aka Loopeisa, so I donate:

A right hand mirror and a foot peg(no pic):

Now I sure other people have kit kick around, Felix will be our own Bionic Women "We can rebuild her"

Since seeing the lovely set of cans for sale in the akrapovic for sale thread, i feel like contributing something back  [rofl]

I have a rear brake lever off an 04/05 which is the same part number as the 06/07 that i can donate.

Hope ya heal soon lisa.

Hi Horse & Lisa

1 set of Carbon Kevlar lined Engine armour covers

(clutch cover should fit too but has 5 pointed star crap as on 08 -09 but should fit fine)

Regards
Rick

they need a little trimming with a dremel then ideally sticking on with silicone

BS from where i bought them (he has sold 11 sets so is lying that he bought them for his racing)
...........................
This carbon fibre engine armour is made by Fibrexcel, who produce engine armour for most of the British Superbike teams
(it's a mandatory requirement nowadays, and the armour must be approved by the organisers, the MCRCB).
The items here have never been fitted to a bike (I bought them for my TT bike in 2008, but injury meant I never got to the event).

This armour is mandated for national racing, sensible for club racing, and a pretty good idea for track days and road racing.  Not only does it mean that a crash won't cause oil to hit the track, it also means that your expensive engine cases will be protected.

The total weight of the three pieces of armour is only 200g!
