i did it and have never looked back dont miss riding on the road one bit although i dont do as many trackdays as i would like due to short time at work but just as my work is picking up my van got nicked last week so carnt get to trackdays now 
plus bikes look so much better in track trim imo but make sure its wot you really want

I know how you feel, but I look forward all day to getting on the bike after work - I couldn't give that up! 

Would be nice to have a track bike I wouldn't have to worry about dropping too much tho. 

What about summat cheap - is there modern day LC racing?!  MZ racing?!
