why are there no apple trees in public places

can someone tell me why there are no apple trees or fruit trees in public places? i just wondered the other day why we can get fruit for free, does everything have to be 'owned' :boxing:

When I was a young lad all those years ago we could walk through fields and pick apples from trees etc but now things are so different aren't they, you can't even take a piss in a field with worrying about being shot at. :pottytrain2:

Things just ain't like they were, it all for the worse I say [naughty]

Is it me only finding this or am I turning into Victor Meldew ? :dontknow:

it doesn't really bother me it was just that I was driving through the countryside and thought about it all.  :drunken_smilie:
