Very odd, no producer ? would have thought you be arrested for that speed ? fingers crossed for you. I got off with 120 some years ago, he called me a dickhead, I agreed . . . . . . small slice of humble pie

Would of thought that you would have been cautioned and arrested for them speeds, what evidence did he have video etc etc.... It can take up to 6 months to go to court all depending on prosecution services. Good luck mucker

Strange that you got no paperwork or a producer :!: :!:

Sounds like you may get away with it

First and foremost the said police officer has to caution you, basically do you recall him saying
"you will be reported for the consideration of the question of prosecuting you for.... Excess speed/dangerous driving etc...

If not then he has maximum 14 days from the date of the offence having come to light, in your case the day he spoke to you to serve you with an NIP,
The 6 months issue is how long it could take from the NIP being served until it goes to court, efficient plods can do it in 6 weeks pending court availibility.

Did you see or did he offer to show you video footage, what type of bike was it, did his speedo have a calibration sticker onthe speed dial???

Sounds like you were either in such a shock for being caught you can't recall any details or, and hope it's the case he just wanted to put the frighteners on you!!!

Eitherway, use your mirrors more and situational awareness

good luck  :icon_thumleft:

Don't recall him saying any of that and he didn't show me any video footage or anything, just told me im an idiot and he was sh*ting himself trying to keep up  [rofl]

He was on a FJR1300. Hopefully it is the case that he just wanted to put the frightners on me. Cheers for the replies guys!!  :icon_thumright:

My court  date came up almost at the end of a six months wait. I thought I'd got away with it  :-( (101mph) was given a good natured lecture on the roadside, the policeman complimented me on my riding skill !!!!?  [rofl]  He timed me going under 1 bridge and then to another which he said was exactly 1 kilometre and calculated my speed from that, so I had no shown evidence, so decided just to eat a bit of humble pie and accept it.  Was given some paperwork etc and told I would be going to court as he said anything over 100mph ,really he had no choice......But had to beg in court and be very humble about keeping my license.  I hope you are lucky enough to get away with it mate but be prepared with those begging excuses :icon_thumright: Good luck :icon_thumright:
