Looks like the last weekend of my holiday, child free, glorious sunshine is gonna be spent NOT riding my bike

After a few people mentioning my chain looked a little bit lose, I finally remembered to check it as Mitch and I were about to set off for a good blast from the local bike shop yesterday

OMFG lose was an understatement. Lisa rushes back into shop with best girly voice and asks Simon to have a look at it. NOT GOOD tho

I thought just dolloping a bit of wurth dry chain lube on every now and again would be fine - apparently NOT

my chain is totally fooked to the point Simon looked at me with puppy dog eyes and asked me not to ride it for my own safety, he did adjust it up etc, but still thought the tight spots and condition of chain were too risky
Mitch said the same, wasn't worth risking for the sake of an afternoons ride, so we bimbled back to mine and now I have to wait till next week, cos no one has a chain and sprocket kit in stock - Bugger

Nor really as thats "fitted".
Wheel out, sprocket off, wheel in, sprocket cover off, get the ridiculous nut off that, replace, etc.
I paid that for a kit delivered including a custom sprocket from B&C for the BST fitment and was happy.
