'07 Suspension
« on: April 04, 2007, 08:36:11 PM »

Hey guys, Anybody out there ride an '07 and weighs close to 95Kg. I'm looking at pinching your suspension settings. I only use it on road not track. Any body got some settings for me. I know .... it's all about riding style but I'm looking at trying to take a short cut..

That me 07 and 95 kgs.

Just running it in right now so no fiddle with suspension.

It feels ok, to me front is pretty stiff over small bumps but stable on the brakes. Might tweek the rear compression slightly

I will definatly be taking it to get it tuned once i have run it in. Might even go for a poer commander to match the Akros.

I'm in Glasgow, or close ish.  :lol

Just booked it in for first service a week on monday, i need to get my skates on as its only done 200 miles and i am on holiday next week.

No idea how you keep it below 4k. I havnt been. I did for the first 80 miles then have been occasionally taking it a bit higher,  I now go up to 6k with occasional burst up to 8k.

I am happy about how its being run in, i guess each to his own.

I'm the same I don't stay long above 4000 blip and drop back. Today I took it up to about 8.5 and then dropped back. I use mine for commuting so my miles are stacking uoand with this weekend( even though I'm working) I'll get a good long ride in. I was going to come up to Glasgow tomorrow but the stuff for delivery was to much for a bike so had to send a courier. Westlife are in your area tomorrow and we do all the lighting for them plus others.

Hey Kwackaholic,  98kg is around 15 stone.  It might be  a speed thing in corneres it doesn't feel very planted, still not pushing it yet as it's only 2 weeks old and as I've gone from a 600 to the 1000 I'm still being cautious. I love teh bike but it might be a confidence thing. This morning going to work I was giving it a bit more than I have before. Shouldn't take me to long to get into the bike .
