Metzeler Racetec Interact's
« on: April 11, 2010, 03:14:16 PM »

Got a set of these fitted a few days ago K2 front and rear and all I can say is oh my bloody god! Talk about what seems like limitless grip and they are super stable too, the tyres I had on before were Corsa III's and these are worlds apart.  Ive tried Racetecs before but these new Interacts are even better.  As you can probably tell im rather chuffed with them and cant wait to get them on a trackday to have a play  :icon_thumleft:

I assume you mean the new Racetec K2???  As the Interact only seems to be listed as Roadtec Interacet and Sportec Interact....

Have to be honest and say the website isn't the easiest to navigate though ;-)

What made you go for K2, rather than K3's?  I am due to change my tyres, and wondering what factors you considered.

How do they drop in, hold lines etc?? Did they get hot quick enough even with colder roads?

Thanks for the info though mate, feedback on stuff like this is always appreciated.

The new K5's should (I think) be the OE tyre on me new s1000rr, whenever that arrives (bout 2015 at this rate).

If I can get half the elephant's trunk off by the end of the summer I''ll be pleased.

That should be pretty easy for most track addicts, road riders on the other hand may be a bit harder  :icon_thumright:

Yeah. Actually if I still see the bottom half of a number two by summer's end that should be more like my usual form.

I'm talking tyre numbers here, folks, before all the poo jokes start...
