New Bike the 10R has had to go!
« on: March 14, 2010, 08:28:46 PM »

Hi Guys

Its a sad day, my 10R has had to go, need a commuter for work, the 10 is just not made for commuting on, got my self a Suzuki Bandit 1250SA Grand tourer. I was really suprised when i test rode one today, very comfy and great to ride. should make my 350 mile a week commute comfy and fairly quick. heres a pic of the beast. the only difference is its in Silver.

The 10 was great fun to ride but I just couldn't use it day in day out to commute. oh well! it was fun while it lasted :icon_thumleft:

One of my fastest times round the Nurburgring was on an 04 Bandit.
Forks 10mm thro the yokes
Front springs changed for something a bit beefier (Cant remember the manufacturer but the std springs are infamous for being waaay too soft)
25mm raised rear (changed dog bones)
Race can
= 8,40 lap time
Oh, and it was on BT021's

Unfortunately I gotta sell the old girl. Damn shame, I'll miss her
