Thanks, Scotland will proably be different anyway.  7x5 is definatly the smallest to go without taking the piss me thinks.

The trusty old ZX7R had the R-Clip both on the street and racing, never had a problem. Even sideways down the bitumin the fairings, pegs, levers and every thing else went by-by but the bloody clip stayed on :shock:

Like Horse said there is no centrifugal force on the r clip!!
Personally i use split pins but the r clip does look neater.
