i agree just read the test, fine on a sunny track

Chances are if it was wet and slippery the Beemer would have been significantly quicker than the others due to the TC

I'm sure stone age man loved his flint axe but then again he was ignorant of better tools ;)

Nah Andy, the 10R is plenty for anyone on the road and track regardless whether its "outdated" or not!!......so is any modern 600.
 :tongue3:

They sure are, but people probably said that about the original Z1 and thank god Kawasaki didn't listen to em

MCN= More Crap than News

Absolute shite

Sunday sport has more truth in it

Regards
Rick

Have to agree with Cobra,

MCN really is a load of shite as are the test riders, their write ups are based on who ass they can kiss the most to get the most freebies from, I wouldn't pay them with buttons.
R1 top of the list one year, bottom the next!!!! WTF, now I don't like R1's but why the sudden roll reversal, sounds like Ducati and BMW are giving MCN more money this year than the others for advertising space.

All down to rider ability and not MCN reporter exaggeration.  [wall]

I wouldn't swap my ZX10R for any of the current crop of litre sports bike of the same money

The more I read, the less I know!

These things make no sense. R1 smoked everything last year, yet this year was 'off the pace'. Makes no sense.

I had the choice between the ZX10R and the S1000RR, went for the Beemer.

Masterbike was about as relevant in the forming of that opinion as our family cat. MCN tumbled over themselves about the R1 when it came out, but by the end of the year they were saying it wasn't a patch on the 'blade. Where lies the truth? I know not, nor do I care.

Why did I chose the BMW? Dunno. Had the money and fancied the change. Liked the colours, too. Certainly MCN tests had no part in the decision-making process.

ACTUALLY - having been on this forum over the last year I've yet the hear a bad word against the ZX10R - those opinions hold much more water than bike journos for me.
