a newbie who will soon be racing a 10.... gulp!

Hi everyone

I bought a zx10r last year and I'm just getting it prepped to go racing this year.  I've raced a few different bikes over the last 5 years but this will be my first thou and I'm really looking forward to it.

Its an 07 bike and I'm hoping that a few questions I may have will be answered on this forum (dont worry, I'll do a search first  ;-))

I started doing track days 12 years ago on a zx7r and this is my return to the green side - they are a bit faster I think  :-)

Hi pob  nice to hear you racing a 10...............theres several of us that get to club racing events regularly, I personally love the club atmosphere  and some good racing............. in all class's do us a favour  post  an update when your at various events when and where  etc be good to come down an see how things are going    :headbang:

Thanks for the welcome everyone  :-)

I'm still prepping my bike so I've already searched on here for answer about wheels and brakes - lots of really good info on here, top stuff.

I've raced with Derby Phoenix for the last few years, Pre Injection 600 on an R6, Thunderbikes on a GSXR750 and now the big bike class on the zx10r

I'm getting older (sigh!) so the experience is massive but the flesh is weakening  :lol:  But I still love it and can't wait for my first race.

I'll keep the race reports up to date on my website for those that are interested and if you every find us at the track there is always a brew on :-)
