not been on here much lately as at begining of the year in january this happened....

How she used to be....

was running on steels as alloys just been refurb'd gunmetal powdercoat never got a chance to put them back on  

also just spent loads on new paintwork getting both bumpers redone with lower valances colour coded and an anni/r32 roof spoiler fitted. also new mk5 rear wiper...  

oh well...

my new car pick it up saturday....

Bora 2.3L V5 with all the trimmings... Still miss my 1.8T Golf GTI though. Time is a healer lol.

yeah fine not a scratch, was only about 40mph when slid off road and by time rolled into ditch would have been 15-20mph...

just been busy with all the insurance drama's cause some pikeys stole it out the ditch before the insurance company could recover it!

We had simlar a few years ago when my eldest wrote off his car, we arranged collection and within hours that car had disappeared somehow

yeah i weren't the only one, couple round my county been nicked after crashes - cars left stranded for a while easy pickings for gypo's with a flatbed transit and who know dodgy scrapyards etc, first couple weeks of january something like 19 000 breakdowns/recoverys around the uk- literally snowed under lol.

accident on monday morning, recovery scheduled for the thursday but by the wednesday morning it was gone... luckily i'd gone back to it on the tuesday morning as i'd left my satnav in the glovebox!  recovered my taxdisc on the tues morning too along with satnav so got 4 months refund
