fitting headers
« on: February 21, 2010, 12:30:47 AM »

Have fitted my new Arrow system :tongue3:
But...I'm getting this ticking/knocking noise from the engine.
Had a mech.take a quick look & he said twas coming from the headers & nothing to worry about.Good.
When i fitted the brackets/slip on bushes to the engine there were no washers or seals to make a good seal & she seems to blow from these points.....
Should I have received washers (to seal headers to block) or should I just tighten nuts  even more ???

As u can tell I'm maybe over cautious having dropped her last year,& just want to put her right b/4 I thrash her tits off :downtown:

Scoobs, have just be :-/en on zx10r.net,quite a useful site,& it seems like I need some copper gaskets to make a decent seal.
I cant remember removing any from the oe system so may just order them anyway, cant be too expensive??
