True - but it's a lot easier to get the details of a bike at the other end of the country on somewhere like here with little risk to it being spotted.

exactly my point buddy, makes me laugh at the lengths people go to to keep there bike "private and out of public view" yet you aint got a clue who is following you on the road, who has walked past it while in the carpark etc etc

True Chris - but it's been proved time and time again when the police either recover a bike or break a ringing operation they always find that the net is used for number plates. The further away the better as there is less likelihood of the ringed plate being seen.
