holy smokes dude that looks nasty hope ur ok now and yeah with protective gear especially helmets u get what u pay for in my opinion.

From the way it healed, people thought I was super human, after a week you could not see any of the injuries, I had a few scares though  ;-)

mate that looks awful.glad you recovered ok. how much was your lid was it an old lid? i only ask because my wife bought a nitro tt lid at the nec show and just by chance steve plater signed it for her  :headbang: :headbang: she hasnt worn it on the road yet but was planning to, but after seeing your pics she is not sure wether to just keep it for the mantle piece or use it on the road its had great reviews ive read on other sites :?: :?:

I bought my lid brand new, I always look after my lid, I still have my "02" which I dropped today so it is going off to Aria to get checked.

After my expereince I would not touch an Takachi/Nitro or any other cheap lid again, you cannot put a price on your head, I have since had 4 Arias, 3 of them I still got, my latest being an Hopkins rep I got at Xmas.
