make sure your hands and the bike are clean....also a thin covering of johnsons baby soap and warm water.....makes it much much easier......if it looks cloudy after being applied dont panic.....as the soap solution dries it clears to a nearly invisible finish  :icon_thumright:

good luck

and above all be patient and take your time

I'd also say it's one of the best mods you can add to your bike, did mine ages ago and have no stone chip probs what so ever, very good product.  Can't emphasise what has been said about the johnsons baby soap stuff though.   :icon_thumright:

Any pics of the finished job? would definately be interested in getting some of that, as stone chips are the bain of my bikes life..never had a problem with all my past bikes, but the 10 seems to attract stones like a magnet :crybaby2:

Just to echo the comments made, ventureshield is great stuff well worth the asking price.

When applying it make sure you keep your fingers wet to avoid getting fingerprints in the adhesive. Dont panic if you get it in the wrong position as it can be removed and reapplied countless times.

Above all, take your time. Working ventureshield around curves takes patience but it is possible to go around even the most awkward piece of bodywork. Also the stuff stretches so when working big pieces start in the middle and work outwards to ensure you get it nice and centralised.

would be a bit difficult to post pics of the finished job cause it's hard to see with the naked eye unless you actually look for it.  :icon_thumright:

I started with the nose cone and found that the hardest bit to do. Pulling the stuff round the corners was quite hard. Cutting holes for the screen wasn't the easiest either!!! Well worth the effort though. I picked up one stone trip during my trip to Germany last year - between the panels in the Venturesheild :crybaby2:
