good buy, just hope you didn't get stung for import tax like some of us have  [wall]

and yes you don't need to remove the rad but it helps prevent all those knuckle marks in the fins on the back  :tongue3:

One of the main reasons for the main gain in power on those is the 1/2, 3/4 wave links on the headers.
If you notice the 08 has them as standard  [whistle]
Why the hell do they stick the can up in the air though? looks gash.  :icon_puke_r:
Good price though - worth it just for the headers

Was expecting some sort of nasty letter along with the pipe but 2 months later and still nothing. I purchased a  new lid a couple of months previous and got hit with the lot, import duty, vat and handling charge. I think it's just hit or miss weather the customs pick up on it or not. If your buying anything from the states ask the vendor if he can label the Item as a gift or a lesser value to what you paid for it to keep the duty down.

Bestbet is "Warranty Replacement" - they are wise to "gift".
Warranty implies that the tax has already been paid  [whistle]

i asked for that but they were too 'by the book' saying they had no proof that they'd sent me something in the first place (which they obv wouldn't have)  incase of a random check etc...

if your brave enough i reckon a good 150mm off the can it would look awsome,,still looks great as is but a shorter can would really finish it off..(just my opinion).

Just had the bike at the dyno last Friday, Holeshot Racing in Dromore N/Ireland.They do all the mapping for Ryan Farquar so I take it they know what they are doing. The bike made 173 bhp on the dyno which I was pleased with considering when I bought the bike it had just a slip on Akrapovic and power commander fitted and a dyno sheet for 160bhp. I run the bike on BP super unleaded 97 ron which is about the best fuel we can get over here.Haven't had it out for a run yet as I'm waiting on a new set of leathers coming, hopefully get out this week. About cutting the can down, I know the evo 2 system comes with the can 3 inches shorter which does look better but I would need some info on this before I break the band saw out.

I really like the up in the air look, I think it makes it look more like a race bike.
I wanted a ex wsb system for my 7r as it kicked up high.
