Introducing myself to fellow zx10 riders
« on: February 03, 2010, 04:50:13 PM »

Hello all,
I have a 05' zx10r with a few mods done to it. I was told about this forum from Derek (ergo) a few weeks ago when I had become kindof bored with the other zx10r forum. Yes, I'm from the states or a Yankee as you call us. LOL I live in Kentucky but am presently serving in Iraq til May or June or whenever they let me out of here. I signed up for the forum to read and do alot of searching, I don't post up much cause I'm sure my questions have been asked numerous times before.
I've had my 05' since Dec 05 and have approximately 20000 miles on it since I stopped riding it in May of last year. I do all my own maintenance on my zx10 and my 03' Z1000. Great bikes both of them and enjoy riding them whenever possible. I'm into the "naked" look with comfort in mind also.
 Thank you,
Patrick

welcome to here pal  :occasion14:

as you've changed the 10R to sit up, how come you've kept a z1000 too, isn't the 10 like the z1000 on steroids   :icon_scratch:

Yes it is in away.... but my wife rides it now and she won't be selling it anytime soon. :-O She enjoys the hell out of it and talks alot of SHI$ when I "lose" to her drag racing. As you can see it is abit modified also and lowered for her short A$$..
