Some of those pattern visors are shite. I had a pattern iridium for my Shoei from there, it looked cool alright - but it was way too dark to see through safely.

Whenever I was riding under trees or in shadow (ie where all the flies lurk) I had to flip the visor up to see where I was going.....

I got rid and paid the extra for a genuine Shoei iridium in the end - it still looks as cool, but I can see where I am going ....

I guess you get what you pay for

well the visor turned up today, looks ok, but god damn the fit  :angry5:, less than impressed. Stick with the real arai ones in my opinion guys.  :crybaby2:

Hi Guys

Bought a couple of non genuine Arai Irridiums and they last about 6 months if your carefull

bought 1 genuine Arai Irridium in 2001 and it's still in good nick so worth the extra

9 years use is worth 2x the cost

but be carefull as a lot of crap ones come in what look like genuine Arai packaging

the genuine one only has irridium on the main shield area & not on the hinge areas (it was like that when i bought mine but might have changed now)

Regards
Rick
