I deal with the police a lot through work, they say they will respond in between 10 mins and 1 hour, most times they dont turn up at all, called them at 2.15 pm on sat, turned up at 8.45 am next day. Also notice more and more dont bother to obey the speed limit when not on an urgent call, have been passed plenty of times in built up areas by police doing 45-50 only to see them stop at the next red light. DO AS WE SAY, NOT AS WE DO would seem to be the police approach.
