Five years ago I booked a holiday for the family to spend New Years in Indonesia, and it got cancelled because of a tsunami, country in tatters and 250,000 killed.

This year I booked us all to spend my birthday next week in Haiti. Cancelled because of an earthquake, 50,000 killed and country in tatters.

This morning my car wouldn't start.

Honestly, I have absolutely fuck all luck.
