hi,was wondering if any one who uses  generators could tell me if a 1.9kv honda one would be enough to power two pairs of tyre warmers at a race meet?

it might struggle with 2 pairs depending on thier rating.

rule of thumb,1 set needs a 1.2kw gennie (putting out approx 1k continious current).

2.2k is your best bet.

:iamwithstupid: i would look at a 2.5 kva just in case , remember a tyre warmer is just a big heating element so takes loads of juice to work.

 :iamwithstupid:

once you've got a genny doing tyre warmers you'll want a kettle etc. Best to get the most kva you can afford
