My son came too but struggled after the first 2miles of climbs so turned around  :-/ leaving me to ride the other 9miles alone. However, there were other people riding the trails too so it wasn't too risky really, honest  [whistle]

Wish there was a way of getting cycles about easily ... Cant see one being straped to a 10 somehow ... Always wanted to take up Mountain biking and always wanted a Specialized Hard Tail but without the ability to get about, never gone for it.

Maybe I should consder a car license for this sort'a thing eh.

just clothing really matey, got some decent  long pants for winter , 661 knee and elbow pads, fox shorts for spring and some winter socks all for christmas  :icon_thumright:

the bike doesn't need anything now, just a fitter rider   [whistle]

shame the pads didn't arrive until yesterday as they had saved me from a fall in the ice a few days ago on a mental 14 mile ice/snow ride   ;-)

loads of snow up here with no riding in sight at the moment  :-(
