Not an 08, there are serious issues with the piston rings ! Sorted on the 09 though new rings, different part#

would that explain the crazy reported oil consumption on the 08's?

looking very nice ......on the subject of bleeding  I use a vacume pump............but Iam in the Air-con business    :hello2:   but used to use a small 'one way bleed valve' from aquarian shop and a push bike pump..................presumably these calipers are better than originals ?

why did you change them, did you have spongy feel brakes before ?? Common fault with the early 10's

I did on my C2H 05, wasn't until i jumped on my R1 and nearly put myself over the bars, that i realized how bad they were !

I fitted a pair of Nissian Calipers and pads off a 2008 GTr 1400. Bolted straight on and now have perfect brakes.

Having had 3 ZX9R's and a 10 Ive found that a Brembo radial master and  braided hoses always sorts things out...... spongy is normally down to piston movement or lack of it....weather its the 4 or 6 pot calipers............ Ive also been using on the 10   carbon mix pads which are a big improvement mind you its a 'personal' thing  I suppose........... :headbang:
