I saw the fireblade beach racer at Le Touquet in Feb ,on a stand in the pits from what I could understand the original rider was killed on it!!! (not at  that particular race though) It looked completely mental...only the French

Theres big prize money at Le Touquet for the first bike to get to the first corner, then they retire. Even BMW entered 2 factory HP2 mega crossers just to advertise and do promo stuff ...quick down the straights and then pulled out on the first corner, suppose they got their shots of them leading the race!

have a look at the performance bikes website , in "your bikes and projects " one of the pinned threads "one litre dirtbike " you have to register i think but its well worth a look , this is no bodge job a lot of works gone in to this monster !
