Melandri_nl From Holland
« on: December 04, 2009, 06:18:42 AM »

Hi, mi name is Ralph from holland. 22 years old and have had manny bikes. I now am the proud owner of a ZX10R that is made in the year 2007.  I dont know if i am allowed on this page since i am dutch.

I work as a mechanic at a garage that is specialized in the BMW brand. We also sell BMW motorcycles so i have the ability to perform al the maintenance myself.  The bike now has 6000 KM on the display thats about 3700 miles. And i am going to change my tires for the seccond time. When i had bought the bike it was standard. Then i went looking for performance packages. I now have a full akrapovic exhaust system fitted underneath the bike and a BMC air filter. The plan is to put a powercommander on it and then bring it to a guy that is going to take the limiters out and rebuilt the engine head so that it will make 205 rwhp.

Ill tell you more when i come from work.  (how i got the name melandri_nl and stuff).

welcome to the forum  :occasion14:

of course you are 'allowed'on this forum  :icon_thumright:

205 rwhp is a significant number and will require much engine work to get that, i would  expect maybe 173 from a deresricted 2007 model  :icon_thumright:

Like alway's :). I am planning on going to all the meetings next year. Even thinking about comming over there if ther is a big meeting in england. I must look through the forum to get more info on meetings tip's tricks and more stuff. I did not have much time yet to look so...

In holland i am member of the ZXR-Club. That is a club for all the zxr's from 400cc till 1200cc (zxr400 zx12r). This is just some additional information. I dont think that anny of you will understand annything that is written in dutch there.
