Cheers gents, tried an HPI company "my bike check" but without a reg it's difficult they tried the vin number but nothing came up through the DVLA! So did what you said roy and contacted Kawasaki Uk, they came back with :-

PORTMAN BUSINESS PARK
LISBURN

if its not road legal . then you will have to make it road legal . get an MOT (don't ride it ther tho)  then find your nearest DVLA test center . they check it over and if all is ok they will issue you a log bock . if you cant prove the year the may give it a Q reg?

Sorry, I meant that the proof of ownership for a non road registered bike is the purchase receipt. That's all i have had form-x bikes and now my pushbike, undamaged frame and engine stamping adds to that of course too  :icon_thumright:

+1

That said, even for a road registered bike, a V5 only shows you're the registered keeper, not the owner.

If you've no intention of using it on the road I don't really see what you have to gain by registering it, especially with all the hoops you'll need to jump through to do it.
