That's it for this year then
« on: November 28, 2009, 12:21:54 AM »

Spotted my first gritter out spreading a mixture of the saltiest gritty granules and molassess today.

Bit early, not frosty yet.  :icon_scratch:

That's the 10 away 'till May.  :crybaby2:

Sherco trials 'till the summer now.   :icon_thumright:

Shame Angus, the salt is like alien blood to jap bikes, dissolves them on contact!   :tongue2:

Messes the brakes right up.

The molasses they spread with the grit makes it stick to the bike even more, and the road is almost just as slippy as  ice with that sugary shit all over it.

Never mind, by easter you'll be drifting the 10 like a motogp god  :icon_thumright:

Bike will be fine over winter I'll protect it well...

get some acf 50  to protect your bike over winter,,
and get some gore tex to keep you warm and dry.
learn to ride in the winter helps to ride it loose in summer

mines been mothballed in my other halfs garage in loughborough for about 2 weeks, washed, greased and covered in wd40. wether i actually ride it in anger again really depends on wether i find anything else that loats my boat durig the winter, ....and also wether i convince me other half that there are other bikes that are good to ride on the back of as well as me 10!

Mine has been tucked up in the garage since the end of October. I really should get round to cleaning the flies off it though...
The ER6N makes much more sense in this weather. Mmmm. Heated grips.
