Newbie HYABUSA
« on: November 02, 2009, 09:50:29 PM »

Hi all

hope I get this in the right section.

Had my ZX10r, 05 model  for over 3 weeks swaped a Z1000 08 model for it.  After 2 mins test riding I knew I had made the right choice.

Previous recent bikes as follows

Hayabusa 2000 model - fast as hell
CBR1000rr 04 model - nice but no soul
Z1000 08 model - very nice but missed the sports bike position so swapped

Now - ZX10r 05 model in blue mods as follows
Akrapovic can, PC111, Goodridge hoses, tail tidy, tinted screen, R & G crash protection, steering damper.

Good Points - fast, light, looks, and fast and.............fast.. :headbang: :headbang:
Bad points - Brakes or lack of brakes..

Will post some pics once i learn how to.
Cheers Hyabusa47  :hello2: :hello2:

Thanks all   :occasion14:

First pic of the bike - just seeing if I can post it right.
I like to be different thats why I went for the blue colour and after having a black bike (Z1000) that looked the dogs b.....ks was a pain to keep clean.  Performance better than the busa, fireblade no match &  I ride her every day to work, wife has the car.  Wash her daily and either use ACF50 (Expensive) or Mr Sheen furniture polish to keep her looking clean.

Thinking of polishing the rims like the Z1000 what do you reckon!!!!

Cheers Hyabusa47

Yes thinking about it the rims tie in with the frame so black they may stay but they dont half look dirty quick.       Pink rims and blue bike maybe not look like a bloody icecream... [rofl] [rofl] [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]/
