Hi guys and girls thought id pop in and say hello!!!

Ive just got myself a zx10r 2005 track bike.

So will be needing some advice on tyre choice, also how does the lap timer work? ive found start, stop and lap but how do you check the times that you have lapped in??

Congrats mate, really like the look of it.  Can't remember off the top of me head how to check your lap times, shouldn't be that difficult though, someone will be along soon to tell you how it's done.  BTW, how are you finding it?

Dont know yet first track day on the 14th Nov, going to try some dunlop qualifiers RR i think, i normally run racetecs but weather turning bit poo so need something to do bit of all rounder.

I just get mine from ebay normally after bsb round you normally find some good tyres with only a few laps on them, got to be diablo supercorsas my bike which is the same has yours handles like its on rails and it has no steering damper on it.i put it down to the tyres because it hardly shakes its head

Yeah ive got loads of racetecs to put on but not many cuts in tread just incase its damp or wets need a tyre thats going to cope with it all.

Hi and welcome, a mate of mine is doing cadwell on the 14th on his 6 and if its dry I might be riding up there to watch the activities in preperation for doing my first in the spring 

If it is dry then I will look out for you
