Hi guys, just bought myself a 2007 ZX10R racebike, so thought I'd better join the forum just in case I need some help with the bike, only been on it once (last week at Cadwell), the bike was not producing any power (95 in 6th throttle wide open) the guys I bought it from reckon the exhaust flap may have been connected the wrong way, anyway disconnected it now so just need to get onto a track and see if the problem has been fixed.  All the best guys, Joe

Hi welcome to here  :occasion14: get it on a dyno and fir a PCIII ( Isee you're looking for one on your other thread) That seems down to me. Mine is pretty much stock and with a PC III it is putting out 170bhp. Try de-catting it before you fit a PC helps a bit. Might need new plugs??

surely the previous owner would know why there was an issue though  :dontknow:   is it running on all 4 cylinders? maybe run it and spray water on the headers to find out and check the plugs  :icon_thumright:

Thanks for all the advice guys, bike has just been built as a racebike (yomoto) they are sure its the exhaust flap so need to get it onto a dyno as suggested, will keep you posted, Joe
