More Bling for the 09 (akrapovic Carbon panels)

Hi Guys

The first installment of my Akrapovic carbon panels arrived today  ;-)

seat side panels & fairing side panels

still waiting for the rest (hugger, Chainguard, Front mudguard & heel plates)
Bloody expensive but i can see why once i unpacked it :shock:
proper autoclave bits with metal inserts on all the bolt holes etc and weighs 25% of the originals if that (very thin)
probably a waste of money but i love Quality Carbon :icon_thumright:
and i keep my bikes for at least 2 years and quality stuff gets me back good ebay money when i sell up so not as bad as you might think price wise.

some piccies of the bits so far.

the only problem is you have to find them as Akrapovic have already stopped making them for some odd reason.

lovely... cant beat a bit of carbon bling B-)....

i had the lower exhaust shield from king carbon which was excellent quality for my 08 10r.. looked great..might be another nice addition?

I am currently looking for a full length Carbon belly pan (race type) if anyone knows of a maker.

yeah i bought marks (mc101) 08 r1,loads of money spent on her and shes a thing of beauty,just waiting for new fairings from jim(kingcarbon)then there off to padded cell for the 09 james toesland paint job,as soon as its done i'll post some pics,also saving very hard for a set of bst's mmmmmmmmmmmm. :occasion14:
