Anyone know of a cheap tracking unit? im after one that i can find the location of the vehicle myself rather than just letting the police know. (rather deal with it myself if the worst happens)

I thought that Datatool snitcher (pager) units that BDS advertised for sale on here cheap recently, can be located via GPS , at least to within a few feet if you add the subscription to allow you to do so ?

EDIT: Thought so - it's called Datatool Locate (dunno just how good it is though)

Try a search for bike tracker or gps tracker on ebay, a mate told me about these a couple of days ago when I asked the same question, I havent decided which if any to go for but there are several different types available on there

Just so you know, the tracking service from Datatool is currently unavailable, they are trying to find a company to take on the job but at present it won't work.

All of our vans at work have trackers fitted by Navman. I am sure they could fit them onto bikes. All you have to do is download a small program from their website and you can see exactly where they are at all timesonyour pc/laptop. Sorry but i can not tell you how much it is, mind you if my boss is using them they can not be to dear. Seriously though they are very good and accurate.
