PB fitted the braking disks to a k9 gixer thou last month and found they gave better feel and a shorter stopping distance than stock. Add the fact that the weigh less is a nice bonus.

A term we use in the Royal Marines is 'Hoofin'.  It means brills, excellent, all the stuff like that.  It deffo applies to your bike. I luv it.

Hi Tony

yes mate you get a very light pulse due to the slots in the disc.

the vibration i got with the galfer's was due to the floating buttons wearing into the carrier quite quickly

basically the disc was moving rotationally on the carrier

had the Braking discs on my Z1000 for 3 years and 18,000 miles and they didn't wear the carriers

may have just been unlucky but prefer braking because of that

Regards
Rick

Braking discs are excellent - I had them on my GSXR600 and found they greatly improved the brakes.

What make are the fork bobbins you got on that 10 mate ?

Hi Charlie

Fork bobbins are from Ebay username   jsrracingdesigns

i don't like the R&G ones as they are covered in too much cheesy advertising & they weigh twice as much as these :icon_thumright:
