Ask Chris......he looks after most of the tourags for Dane Chester.

He loves the V10 TDI and says its shifts but are very very thirsty.

I looked at one before I got the BMW, and it was lovely.  But the VW and Audi diesel engines in the Tourag and Q7 are far too un-economical when compared to other diesels 4x4's.

You also need to be careful with which models to go for, and ensure you get the right spec level.  There are a lot of poverty spec models out there going for a song but not worth it compared to other spec models.  You want NAV, Bluetooth, Leather, Winter Pack, Seat Options, and Xenon's as a base minimum.

I'm having a Range Rover Sport TDV6 next year, can't wait...  B-)

 [rofl] you yuppie!!

Yeah I have seen some well spec'd up V10's but was wondering on the running costs and fuel costs.

More to the point bunny - have you got your finger out yet???

the whole lot drops down as a oner, front subframe, front suspension and brakes,  engine and gear box, can have one out in about 4 hours now  B-)

only comes out when something goes wrong and yeah VW said the toaureg was designed around the V10 engine so you can imagine room to work is at a bare minimum
