Newbie here,first post 04/05 zx10r
« on: September 27, 2009, 08:56:11 PM »

Hi there, newbie here. Got my first zx10r a couple of months ago, 04 model with 8000 miles. It has a few modifications which were on the bike when I purchased it. Arkrapovic end can, power commander, ohlins damper, seat cowl and tail tidy. I put some hel brake lines and some rim tape on last week. I'm not sure about the rim tape, bought it on ebay.com .It is an exact match for the paint but still not sure.Have posted a few pics, what do you think?

Thanks for the comments lads. I was just wondering if any of you had seen the post by Tony83 in the modifications gallery. He has posted some pics of an 05 zx10r with an 08 swing arm. Does anyone have the info on how this is done as I wouldn't mind doing this over the winter, is the 08 swing arm a straight replacement or does it require fabricating? It looks the dogs balls but I don't want to upset the geometry of the bike.
