Snetterton today and crash
« on: September 09, 2009, 08:17:33 PM »

So the one and only track day I do this year...paid for by a supplier me thinks , "cool free track day
, open pitlane only 50 bikes in total great!"

uh hu [naughty]

was good warming up

was going well

until

I decided that as it was open pit lane that I would try and test some parts of teh bike I have never tried testing....like th eR&G crash bungs, my back brace and my Sidi boots oh and while we are about it lets test teh durability of my leathers

Then I thought I would check the oil while going down the track much quicker ...who needs pit stops

Anyway I spent the rest of the day at Norwich A&E and have two broken feet. Going into Northampton Hospital tomorrow for an operation on my right foot.

cheers guys

Jason thanks for the support :icon_thumright:

Matt that might be an offer I take up [rofl]

as for teh humour what else can you do, it's a trackday, it's a motorbike. they tend to fall over easily, I knew the risks :icon_thumright: so can't complain about it

Whaty actually happend is that the fairing on the RH grounded out and must have lifted teh back slightly so I lost just that little bit of grip. the evidance is on the fairing where it happened.

I'll post pics of teh bike later this week.
