Yep that's my old 7r in my old driveway in front of my old house in your pic.
Congrats on getting your 10r, hope you're liking it, a world apart from the 750, eh? Just hope you throw a sponge at this one now and then, seen the 7r parked at the bike show and my it had aged in the few months since I'd last seen it! Pace of city living too fast for the old bird maybe?

Yeah, unfortunately I got caught out by winter and road salt.    Spent ages fitting new washers, bolts and polishing off rust. Won't be making that mistake again! Almost cried when I lifted the cover and saw the state of the alloy. Sorry.

Try the aircraft preservative stuff, ACF50 I think it's called. costs about a tenner and it is the dog's bollocks for keeping your pride and joy in good nick, even through the winter. Just don't spray it on the discs
