Hi PaulJ

You lot will be banning me when you slowly watch my new ZX10R turn into something similar with superbike type bars  :emb:

Have Pinned Wrists and both clavicals so don't get on with clipons.

but i promise it will be tastefull and not look like the usual (I crashed and can't afford a fairing) type job  :icon_thumleft:

Hopefully the fairing will stay as i would mainly need to be comfortable.

Regards
Rick

Hi HammyUK

Yes will probably go with a full 998cc ABM kit with FatBars as i like the angles on those and have ABM bars on the Z
My only quibble is ABM  stuff has reall crap anodizing compared to Gilles etc.
so may get the top yoke powder coated before fitting anyway.

Currently looking into Ohlins forks for the 08/09 ZX10R if anyone has a set.

sadly i can only find a TTX Ohlins rear shock which i don't like too much as the Z1000 one was rubbish compared to the 46PRXLCS it replaced

Anyway enough of my waffle  :emb:

Hi Guys

Picked up my 59 plate black 10R today

only managed 54 miles before i got a puncture!

did 15,000 on the Z1000 with no punctures.

Hoping the diablo III's are not prone like Dunlops where on my RSVR

Anyway 10 feels lovely and far smoother and torquyer than the 08 demo bike i rode (no factory changes my arse!)
no snatchy on/off throttle at low speed and much better pull even staying around 4000 rpm

will go 5000 after 100 then upto 6000 after 200 miles as 4000 for the 1st 600 miles is bollocks in my view.
run in all my bikes this way and they have always given good power and been problem free.

that Silencer has got to go [wall]
