Hello from the land of cheese
« on: August 15, 2009, 11:08:30 PM »

Just became a fellow ZX10r owner.........stepped up from a 600. Had it nearly 48 hours, and can't stop grinning!       :-D

What a bike! Picked up a 2004, Candy Thunder Blue model, 22,000kms, excellent condition.....made up.

Didn't come with the owners manual. Where's the best place to pick up a copy. Couldn't find any on Kawa UK website, then fortunately stumbled across this forum. :-)

Cheers all......

Spent the day out on her yesterday round the mountain roads....& still have a grin at how awesome the bike is.

2 Honda's & a ninja

On board the train from Goppenstein to Kandersteg.....
Shortly after this short was taken an innocent mirror was sacrificed! F-ing train took a corner & my bike tipped against the side of the carridge & 'snap' mirror was gone.    Any recommendations for replacements? Was planning to get new ones, as these standard ones give a good view of elbows & nothing else.

Thanks for the link re: mirrors  :occasion14:

Here's my other bike (Yam MT03)....tho the bank balance is pushing for it to be sold now I have me 10R.

The torque is amazing, for anything but high-speed, and highways it is a sweet machine.

Went with the GS500F mirrors & got em on today........they're wide, but I have a decent view of traffic as I pass em ;)
