bt016 tyre review
« on: July 28, 2009, 09:10:55 PM »

sun came out today........honest
so i thought i'd give my new hoops some abuse now they're scrubbed in
front:double compound.......pretty quick warm up & grippy too, turns in quick & precise at all speeds, very stable under hard braking too
rear:triple compound......warm up time is very quick with loads of grip at all angles & speeds,a small amount of movement from the rear when under hard acceleration from some turns but its gradual with great feedback,i found this confidence inspiring plus makes ya feel like a motogp god :tongue3:
theres not many reviews of these tyres apart from the usual bridgestone motogp hype,so overall xllnt tyres which i'd recommend to anyone :icon_thumright:

oops forgot to mention wet
no probs so far, grips well on cool wet mornings & soaked roads
my previous tyres were racetecs & on the odd occasion i took the 10 out on damp roads which was WELL SCARY! but a good laugh at the same time
so to say i feel pretty confident in the wet is an understatement

Have 016 fitted on the 6 and had a couple of  :pottytrain2: moments coming back from Carter Bar last week in the rain.

Back to Pilot Power 2CT for me next.
