eye injury
« on: July 07, 2009, 03:49:31 PM »

Well the current spell of heavy rain has come at a good time for me anyway, been laid up since Sunday night after I attempted to blind myself with a bungee rope, lol. Temporarily lost sight in my left eye from the initial smack of it causing a small bleed into the cornea. Basically my eye is like a snow globe, if I move about it clouds up, but if I rest it settles down and clears up.

Should hopefully be all cleared up in a few days time thankfully (with luck, no permanent damage done)  B-)

Thanks for the comments guys (and the bad jokes, lol)

Surprisingly it didnt really hurt, it was more of a shock. The big worry was the instant loss of vision in my left eye but I managed to stay quite calm considering.

Gotta keep going back to hospital for checks but seems to be healing ok, just a slow process  B-) Relieved there's no serious damage done though  :icon_thumright:
