Club and superstock boys are lucky to get sponsership to pay for their entry fees and fuel let alone ohlins forks

As we all know it all comes down to money at the end of the day in everything we do.

Superstock boys aren't allowed to fit oversize fork carts thats why they stick with 20mm.
For road and trackday use i'd just get the stock internals reworked. If you can do the work yourself, racetech gold valves have a lot of fans

Totally OTT for road and occasional track use Glenn.  Just get your stock stuff revalved.

Have you ridden one that has been revalved?

Jim Whithan rode one for two mag back in 04  that had had the rear shock revalved with K-Tech internals (piston, damper rod, shims) and he said it totally transformed the bike. I think the work was done by shockwaves for approx 300.

I had my R1 done front and rear revalved  by Zeno and it's fookin Mega
