Hello All
« on: March 19, 2007, 10:01:12 AM »

Hello All,

Just a quick post to say hello and introduce myself.

My name is Paul and i live in sunny Manchester. I am an IT engineer by profession, and am 20 years old.

I have been riding now for around 8 months, my first bike was a 600 Bandit (i still have it) but the one i ride most is my ZZR 600. I have to say i love it at the moment. I am seriously considering somthing from the ZX range, but i am wanting to get my experience on a slower machine hehe.

Hope to be speaking to you all soon,

Thanks

Welcome to here buddy.

I also had a ZZR600 before the ZX636R.  Handy machine and it never dissapointed me.  The only reason I changed was that I wanted something a little lighter with a bit more zip.   Oh and it was coming up to the 16,000 mile service as well  [rofl]

Still wish I had one for motorway work as they are comfy as hell for it.

16,000 mile service, not bad lol... mine has just had a 35,000 one hehe. Since i have been riding, both my bikes have been insurance write offs (got them from salvage yards). I have done quite alot of repairs to them (should have some pics somewhere). and i have gotta say, you would never know, and it runs a treat.

It is the 1998 S Reg, Emodel. Its a great learning bike (seemed like the next logical step from bandit to something alittle sportier).
I have a big pay rise coming up in a few months, and my sister works at Carole Nash so ill try and get something a little more powerful.

Problem is with me, i am not the lightest or shortest of people, so i wont really notice much of a weight difference in bikes lol.

I have to say, this has been the friendliest forum ive signed up to so far :) All seems good.

Oh, ok then.

I suppose the Haynes manual for the E model is of no use to you then.  [rofl] [rofl]

Never mind.

Oh we are friendly here.  Group hugs every morning at 6 before we all take part in a little Tai Chi to wake ourselves up ready for what the day ahead has to throw at us.  :icon_thumleft:

Don't think that it has'nt gone un-noticed that you've not been turning up to the Tai Chi sessions over the last couple of days.
