Hiya all,

Just a quick one reference the mod with the blade callipers on the 06/07 zx10r as they are shite.  Have got the callipers, but does anyone know what size bolts i require to fit to the forks.  I know i need 2 x 5mm spacers and thats about it, (can i use the blade calliper bolts as well as spacers)? Thinking of getting some machined by a local guy to save on costs.  Any advise much appreciated so i can get them ordered before i go up to mallory on the 12th to meet whoever is going up for the forum meeting :icon_thumleft:

if you have got the 08 blade mono blocks you should have the spacers with them as the blade use these as stock anyway and just use the zx10r caliper bolts.

check the pic you`ll see the spacers, they have a lip that slots into the caliper

bought the callipers 4 weeks ago, have phoned them several times but no joy in them having the bolts or spacers to go with the callipers. Just waiting for an 08 to come in. cheers for info anyhow. :icon_thumleft:. look 4ward to getting them on and seeing an improvement. :-P

M8,i did that mod & used the kwaka bolts,no probs,also managed to get some spacers machinened to fit..(5 mm) :headbang:

Just realised u  got 08 calipers,mine were off an 06 blade,sorry dont know if they're the same..

u keep confusing me guys

so what models fit? blade 1000 08, blade 900 06, 07? zx636 08, what else? what about cbr 600rr 08?
and which need spacers??

guys just to keep it simple

CBR1000 08-09 = MONOBLOCKS
CBR600 09 = MONOBLOCKS
GSXR1000 K9 = MONOBLOCKS

all other bikes have just plain boggo calipers

although the cbr`s use the same pad the later bikes have monoblocks so a caliper machined from one piece rather than two parts bolted together.

Will more than likely try that, should be cheap and easy enough to buy/make.  anythings gota be better than these dog shit brakes. Will let you know how it goes when fitted. :headbang:
