Exhausts ZX10R (08)
« on: June 09, 2009, 05:22:32 PM »

As a new owner of zx10r, i am looking for opinions on exhaust upgrades. Such as complete systems and also slip-ons.
Any downsides, aswell as positive remarks (ofcourse:) are of greatest interest.
What i look for is not top hp, it's rather more torque and also, no high db system.
Thanks!

Hi,

i am not in UK. Sweden actually... i just look to learn about this bike and owners, what they like, dislike or modify and why ofcourse.
Quite often it seems people have different perspectives of some things in different parts of the globe. So i look here, to get another refreshing view than that around here.
I have not even gotten my bike. I will pick it up at saturday. First thing i'll do on sunday is changing a few things. Sadly i blew to much money at my 2 former bikes. Otherwise i could do a little more at this one. Maybe i should just bling it up a bit :headbang: + shorten the trail, and wait to next season and see if i really need to pour so much more money in it.
That sounded smart, could that really come from my brain :icon_scratch:

There was an interesting feature in PB last year with their 08 zx10r, they started off by removng the secondary throttle butterflys, that gave a midrange increase without losing the top end power !
